Properly installed car seats are one of the most effective ways to protect children in the event of a crash. Yet many families struggle with access or installation. That’s why the Office of Early Childhood Initiatives is partnering with the Milwaukee Police Department, through a special grant, to help 20 deserving families with free car seats.
Seats will be provided, fitted, or installed on site by trained professionals. Limited space available—vehicles must be present to receive a seat. One car seat per family, Styles and colors will vary, while supplies last.
The Office of Early Childhood Initiatives is located within the YWCA building and parking is available in the lot behind.
